Good mornin everyone.
I'm running on fumes. Just so tired. I really don't know how much more I can take. My PCP's nurse is supposed to call me back today but we'll see their track record for returning calls isn't all to good. We should be staying home today so that's good. On top of my back and legs my shoulder on my right side hurts really bad. If it still hurts Tuesday I'm going to ask for an X-ray. Sorry that I am doom and gloom right now...I may stop posting for a few days but we'll see. It's a day by day kind of thing. Life isn't peachy keen for me right now.

I will try again later this afternoon. 99.9% of the time goes straight to voice mail. At least I know I seem the doctor Tuesday.
It feels like there is the constant need to follow up in all matters related to health. I've been without an aide for three weeks. I have struggled getting return calls during the process. Last week, the aide supervisor didn't call back 2x, the manager didn't call back 2x, and I followed up again and got the branch manager. He was emphatic and super nice. However, nothing happened when the message got botched after he delegated. I now have to go back to the state and BCBS for assistance in changing agencies.

They know we have no choice and like a lot of government /state help agencies - they are understaffed and underpaid. I hope you get help soon.

You definitely have to be a self-advocate with healthcare. Unfortunately, the healthcare field is experiencing staff shortages. Many healthcare providers (Docs, nurses, aides, etc) decided that they would rather retire or change careers during the pandemic. Plus, now many places are experiencing a financial crisis due to the increased demands and costs of care during the pandemic. The organization that I work for has lost 100 million since the start o COVID. This is a non-profit organization.
