What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good morning gang. I'm working on getting my company set up with a corporate membership to the YMCA so other employees can get a discount membership and other perks. The membership director at the Y called me back yesterday and we talked for a bit then she sent me over the information. Now I just have to see who I need to send the information to in our corporate office.
Last night was pretty low key at home. Took care of the animals, played with the goats, and went to the Y for a bit then home to crash and burn. I did a lot at work yesterday in the scale house cleaning and kinda wore myself out, but I did sleep good.
QOTD: If you drink milk is it dairy milk or nut milk? Of course you all know that I drink raw cow and goats milk. Not that I drink a ton of milk, but I have some in my morning coffee and usually an 8 oz glass of it every other day. I grew up on raw cows milk just because one of my sisters worked at a dairy and the farmer would give her two gallons of milk every other day for my mom and with 5 kids we went through milk.
B: My stomach was a bit funky this morning so I had a cup of lemon ginger tea.
L: Singapore Mei Fun
D: Salad with tuna
Swimming and weight machines
Have a great day everyone!!

Good mornin y'all!
I have an appointment this afternoon with my psychiatric NP. It's been a rough week for me MH wise but it could be way worse. Tuesday we saw a German shepherd that had just been hit with the owner crying over it. Broke my heart! I cried all day off and on. It's just been a heavy news week locally. I wear my heart on my sleeve and thing**** me hard. On top of it my mom was up all night because of the neighbors. So she is in a very poor mood along with me. My stomach has been unhappy since yesterday morning. Just a fun week! Ha.
Tomorrow we're going out with my aunt. I really didn't want to go but it's my mom's birthday and she asked me to go. Ugh. I am not so good with boundaries. I feel rough today with my stomach still and I woke up with my right arm totally asleep.
Good news is I found out both of my scans were approved! I just hope it'll be down sooner than later. I'm ready to get on with it and hopefully get it fixed for less pain.
QOTD: the only milk I tend to use is for pudding and that has to be cows milk. If I used any for cereal or whatnot it's almond milk that's unsweetened and plain. I used to drink tons of milk when I was a kid but now it makes me a wee bit sick and I just drink it plain.
B: protein bar and coffee
L: chicken lunch meat, piece of low carb bread, cheese and maybe some kind of sauce.
D: not sure on this one
Some pics. The one of Tange was yesterday! The one with Percy was made a few years ago. The fire one was in my FB memories from 15 years ago,
Good morning, everyone!
It feels very Friday Eve to me. Marilyn and my youngest are coming home tonight and then we are heading to Florida tomorrow morning, early. I do have a call tomorrow afternoon and will need to be on emails, but nothing that will keep me out of the pool.
But first work today and I need to go to Walgreens, CrossFit, mow the lawn and pack tonight. Hopefully, I can head out early and get a jumpstart on that stuff.
This might be the warmest day of the summer, it feels very steamy out. Possibly we are getting thunderstorms, which may be an issue for mowing.
QOTD: I don't drink much milk. If I have coffee, it's with half and half. I will dump on real ice cream. I can eat the fake ice cream sandwiches, drumsticks, etc. But real ice cream that actually melts I can only have a little bit of.
BreAkfast: bagel
Lunch: catered
Dinner: corned beef hash
Have a great day, all!

I became lactose intolerant about six months after RNY. I had a ton of milk right after surgery in protein shakes and protein puddings. Now I only have lactose free milk and ice cream. Breyers has lactose free ice cream that I can use without any problems. There are a few other brands out there but I miss real ice cream.
We have a heat advisory today and will be in the 90's. Nice time to stay at the pool or inside with the air on.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning Jennifer and Menuers,
Wow life is busy, and I find it hard to stop by. But I wanted to say hello and say I had my yearly and I held my weight for the year. I call it a win. I still want to lose about 20lbs. I wish there was an appetite suppressant that is not an injectable that I would qualify for. You think the bariatric doctors would be pushing to get something for people who have eating disorders and have had surgery. I know that BMI needs to be 30 to get Mounjaro but you think since you were already diagnosed with an eating disorder you would have access to something to keep you at a healthy weight. Yes, you lose weight, and you learn the rules after surgery, but you still have an eating disorder.
QOTD: I never drink milk. However, if I need it for a recipe I use 2% cow's milk.
Accountability: I had a few drinks last night that I probably didn't need.

Good Morning! I am hoping to make the most of this Friday Eve. I am contimplating asking to either WFH tomorrow or leave 1/2 day. I am burnt out and could use a little bit of a break and we are mid cycle so the team should be ok if I am not here. I think it's great that you trying to get your company to support more people using the Y and just being more active in general.
QOTD: I use Fairlife at home and almond when out and about.
Today the menu is the same as yesteray finishing up the last of the chorizo. I did bring in a handful of salt/pepper pistacios that Em gave me a few weeks ago- they are so yummy! Exercise is done and water/vits are on their way.
Today is a great day to have a great day!
