What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Tuesday Morning Gang!! We started washing boiler 1 to get it fixed. I've got to pick up pizza for lunch for the guys. I've got a new hire from the Bridgeport plant coming today so I can get him started with things since the ops. specialist is on vacation down there. I don't think there is much else going on.
QOTD: What was your first job? At 13 I worked as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. Worked for almost 4 years washing dishes at $4 and hour cash. Not all that bad back in the late 80's.
B: coffee and protein shake
L: pizza
D: roasted chicken
Hitting the Y tonight.
Have a great day everyone!!
Hope you had fun at the Y tonight. Was it a class or just using the machines and then a jacuzzi? It's nice that you are getting good use out of it.
QOTD: Technically the first job that wasn't babysitting was at an A & W but at the end of the two week trial period I turned in my apron, food service was just not for me. Can't even remember what that first and last check was, pretty low undoubtedly.
B: Ho****er then my protein/collagen shake w/extra espresso powder.
L: not hungry
D: not hungry but I ate 3 oz of Amylu breakfast sausage links, 2 T G. Hughes sf bbq sauce, a slice of Kraft American cheese and half a cup of fat free cottage cheese.
Hubby was away from the house so I bopped around to my heart's content. Worked in the garden some, grabbed up my collection of 2015 opaque tights and suck-in cami's and did a big hand wash load in hopes I'll be able to fit into them soon. Rearranged my closet some to remove more of the 3x's and bring the xl's to the front, ironed fabrics waiting to be sewn, stacked t-shirts to be cut smaller, picked apart some of the nice men's shirts I thrifted to use as garment fabric and wondered why the best quality fabrics are in men's clothing? All the women's clothes I've thrifted have to be brought home (after washing in ho****er) and fuzz-shaved. Knit fabric quality has taken a nose dive.
New First World problem: there are no places to buy buttons in any color other than black, white, red, metallic or rhinestone locally. The best buttons I've found are online from the UK. And how in the world can you color-match when computers present colors so strangely?
See you next month!
Molly
