I just went to Projekt Revolution, and also saw Sarah McLachlan the day after Projekt Revolution.
I had a GREAT time!
I didn't let my weight get in the way. I pushed my surgery back to see these two concerts and you can bet it was WELL worth it.
Don't regret it one bit. =3
Topic: Still Rocking
The last concert I attended pre-op was Peter Gabriel. Our seats were really high up & I remember thinking I'd die trying to get to my seat. Since the surgery I've reclaimed my youth...I've been going to numerous concerts in small venues as well as large & having a blast. My latest was Madonna on my birthday...July 8. Dream come true...I've wanted to see her since I was 12 & now I can say I have. Can't wait to get to the next show!!!!

Otep is set to release their third album on July 27th. The new video for their sneak release of warhead can be viewd on otep.com and now featured on ozzfest.com and bushflash.com . They are selling a new special dvd online only while supplies last as well. Set to play ozzfest again this year.
Nine Inch Nails set to release their new album sometime this year and begin touring again. A GREAT thing since NIN was retired for many years. So if you missed them before , here's a second chance. New merch is comming for them as well. Read all updates and submit questions for Trent himself to answer at the site www.nin.com
Enjoy !
Topic: Going to Concerts after WLS
OMG - I just have to share... Since my WLS, I have gone to about 6 concerts and had a blast! I went to maybe 1 concert a year pre-op... but always felt uncomfortable and ugly because of my size. Now that I am post-op, Ive been to many concerts and I am sooo excited to go to more!!! Thank you WLS for helping me to be involved in life - and not jus****ching from the sidelines.
