Topic: Protein Mix Reviews
I think I'm going to include a page in my WLS scrapbook (when I get around to starting it) on protein mix reviews. I've kept a record of my initial reaction to the various ones I've tried. I thought that'd be a good idea because after a while we forget that we tried different brands/flavors and such. Maybe I can put expression stickers/embellishments to go with my reaction etc. Facial expression and such. Photo caption stickers and such. I don't have photos of me drinking the mix but maybe I can print out picture of item from web and such. I ordered a bunch of samples from vitalady.com and some are AWESOME and some are YUCKO!! Trying to increase my protein per day and these are a good way to do it. Hugs, Trisha

Topic: REVISION - JUNE CARD SWAP
You are right, there are only six participants, not seven. I counted one person twice. So here's the info! I'll be e-mailing you each my home address tonight. Postmark deadline is 6/11. Updated info is below!! ==================================================== First we need a head count SIX THEME: Thank you TYPE OF CARD: Simple stamped and/or one layer with at least one embellishment. If you are new (like me) just do what you can in time allowed. No pressure. All cards must be the same or very similar to each other. CREDITS: Please make sure you put your name and e-mail address on back of card OR on separate piece of paper. Also, let us know how you made card, what brand of stamp you used, brand of embellishments, etc. Only one copy of this needs to be included. I'll make copies of it to send to the others. MAIL TO: I'll will mail each of the participants individually with my mailing address. Postmark deadline is 6/11/05. Mail six of your THANK YOU cards that are similar/same PLUS include envelopes. I like to embellish my envelopes a bit. so if you are into that, do it, if not, plain is fine. Also include a 6x9 self-addressed-stamped envelope. I would say 2-37c postage is okay. Jenn - does that sound right or should it be 3-37c postage on envelope? Maybe 3 to be safe. Put all of that - cards, envelopes, self-addressed-stamped-6x9 envelope in a larger envelope (9x12) and mail to me on or before 6/11/05. So get started! June 11th is just a few weeks away!! Hugs, Trisha

Topic: RE: July Swap page....
I think it makes sense for you to head this up since you are a pro, I'm a novice at this stuff! Saw your other thread on the guidelines and stuff. Awesome!! Thanks for taking the lead. You know what you are doing - that helps the rest of us! I like the idea of one side journal and one side pic themes. Cool!! I'm so excited! Hugs, Trisha

Count me in! I almost bought the background paper today, but want to make sure how many layouts I will be doing. I did work on my sample "thank you" card today and it took me over 6 hours!!! I figured that this one was way too complicated. Sooooo . . . will start over tomorrow. Judy

Topic: July Scrapbook Page Swap
Okay ladies...here are the rules: 1)Deadline to sign up is June 4th (this will get an acurate headcount) and give everyone enough time to begin or finish their pages. 2)You will need to do a 2 page layout holding the same 'Summer Theme' - so it will flow nicely thru the book. One page will be for a photo, one page for journaling. Do not do it as a front and back page. Just one sided. If you need an idea of what this is about, email me privately and on my website I will post an example. We would like to do 6x6 pages. This is quicker to do and more economical in the long run. You may do layers and embellishments if you want. Just remember it all cost money and time. So the nice and tidier the better. 3) As soon as I get a headcount I will post a due date for the swap, which will be the begining of July. Date unknown as of yet. 4) You will all mail me, -I will post my address-, your page swaps. You will also enclose a self address, and self postage envelope large enought to hold your swaps and the ones you will be receiving. The cost should be the same as it is to mail it to me, b/c you will be getting the same amount of pages back. 5) This is a Summer Theme, 6x6 dual page swap. Post under this thread if you will be involved in the swap. If you COMMIT to being a part of the swap, remember others are counting on you to fullfill your part. If you have any concerns or problems I will be happy to help you. If you live in Northern Illinois its always fun to work together, so drop me a line...etc... I have plenty of stamp sets, embellishments, etc...if you need inspiration! And I play nice, and share too!! Just think we could get a whole summer 6x6er done in a month! How fun! Happy Scrapin' and Stampin'! xoxooxjenn PS: if interested in seeing examples of a 6x6 dual page, email me I can send you my site and hopefully by the end of the weekend I will have an example up. ALSO: In other swaps there was some questions of the front and back page, since ours are side by side. This will be up to you to do on your own!
