I love my secret pal. I receieved a beatiful necklace earring set, some what we call around here "smell goods" and some other little nick nacks. Couldn't be happier.

Nice interview Mike but with a subject such as Rona, how could it not be a great one.
Rona is truly a selfless woman who I am proud to call my friend. She has went thru and it still going thru many obstacles and I wish her only the very best. She has put in so much hard work into the Secret Pals program even thru all the difficult time she & her family has had.

Hi All!
I am currently sitting in the building where I have my weekly support group meeting freezing to death. I can't believe how cold I get since the surgery. Winter in upstate NY is going to be interesting this year. I never used to wear a heavy coat until maybe January. I think I'm going to wear one real early now.
Feeling a bit better about the eating. Don't have the urge to binge right now. That has been a real issue for me. I realized that it was a stress reaction. The desire to graze is definatel a boredom reaction. I am working on developing some new hoobies to take the place of my old bad habits. Journaling is really helping. Not using a fancy book, just an inexpensive notebook from Wally world and a hairband to hold it closed. I wish I could find one that I hd started before my surgery, that one had my presurgery measurements. I wonder how many inches I've lost?
Okay, I'm ramblling now.

This is the first I've gotten in one the share and care. So, here goes...
As of today, I am 6 weeks out of surgery. I'm still off wor****il next Thurday, so I've taken the time to get myself back to "normal." I've been getting a little (a lot) stir crazy being home all day so I'm actually looking forward to going back.
I'm getting a little frustrated with my weight loss. I'm doing amazing. I've lost about 40lbs since surgery. I'm so happy about it! I'm getting frustrated because my scale will just not let me hit Onderland. It keeps hovering between 200 and 201. I just wanna see 199! On the other hand... My boyfriend's 17 y/o little sister kept telling me she had a pair of 16 jeans that were big on her. I've been afraid to try anything on because I didn't wanna be disappointed... but the other night I tried them on and they FIT! Actually they are a bit baggy in parts... woo woo!
Well, I guess that's enough for now.
