I agree. If you or your children are in danger, GET HELP IMMEDIATELY! Your decision to have weight loss surgery may put you in a worse situation than you are already in. Alot of spouses get jealous when the weight starts coming off.

Remember, looks are only part of the package and if the looks were to change would he still be as attractive to you and vice versa. When I met my DH I was only a year out from my RNY and was at my low weight, cruising along and happy with life. Fast forward 6 years and #75 gained (from infertility treatments, ineffectively done RNY, stoma with no restriction, yadda yadda) and he still loves me for ME -- not because of who I was with the weight loss.
Now he has to deal with all my wows and gushing everytime I lose a pound (as well as my own insecurity about how I look) but he does so lovingly and without the insecurity of wondering if he will lose me when I am back down in weight.

Bottom line..... Good luck and let us know the juicy details so we can all live vicariously through you (especially if it turns out well!!!)!

Today has gone pretty well, but I am stressed. I met a new guy on a website and he wants to meet me. We've been talking for about two weeks and he sounds really nice. I told him about the surgery tonight cause we got talking about food we like. He only has my 'in progress' picture and said I look really good to him. This has me so nervous. I am so hoping he is not looking for sex only, like the last one. Wish me luck and send me some 'don't eat bad stuff' vibes. I so want cookies and candy right now!
