Good afternoon everyone!

I am just finishing up my work day  and getting ready to head for home.  Nothing terribly exciting happening here in Central Iowa, so just wanted to stop by and say HELLO and share this ...

Optimism

In order to better understand people's views of the world, a researcher once placed two children, one a pessimist and the other an optimist, alone in separate rooms. The pessimist was placed in a colorful room full of all kinds of imaginative toys ... the optimist in a room filled with horse manure.

The first child played in the room for a little while, but soon came to the door asking to leave because the toys were boring and broke too easily. 

Likewise, the young optimist soon came to the door ... but rather than asking to leave, she asked for a shovel. 

Of course, the researcher asked the child why she wanted a shovel.  She replied, "With all this manure around, I know that there must be a pony in here somewhere."

Keep your optimism alive friends! TTFN!  

It's a wonderful sunny day here in Eastern NY. I spent most of the day out in the garden.

Any one planning on going to the OH conference in October? I want to go but may not know if I can until end of Sept. Check out the NY board for more details.

The weekends always go by way too fast!! It should be a 4 day work week every week!!

Well, that's pretty cool..... I've never heard of it!

It's really hard trying to keep up with the course load when there's 2 little ones at home, a hubby who is never home, working full time, and just a lot of demands on my time in general. The ziplining in September will be a nice reward to finishing this round of exams!!
