NEED HELP WITH CROSSTITCHING DESIGN

My boyfriend has an idea that I can crosstitch a big truck like his company's and put it in a frame for his boss for christmas. The problem is this....this is a flat bed company and I'd like to be able to put both truck and trailer on the design but how do I actually have a design? I saw a program at Walmart that I thought about purchasing. It supposed to help you make a design. Anyone know if it works or do you have a better solution for my problem like maybe a design already done. I'd like to get busy with this project so I can have it done in time for Christmas. I don't have the program but I knew someone who did and she could take a picture of the thing to be stiched and with this computer program it would make a chart for you. You could even change the colors ect... Check with a craft store like Michaels. Maybe you could ask them, Michael's on the net or Joann's. The lady I knew did children photos. Try the program PC Stitch at www.pcstitch.com . We got the program for our daughter last year and she really likes it. Please let me know if it is what you need.
