Looks like an inactive message board, but I will introduce myself and see if I can start anything! I had my Open RNY on Feb 7th 2002. I am at goal weight and very happy with my decision to have the surgery. I am a music teacher for a local catholic school and I am a church choir director for a UCC church. I love my work. I am fortunate to enjoy what I do for living!

Hi Kimberly, I just noticed the member intrest boards on the side of my screen. I too am a singer. I led worship at my Mom's church and have been in several Christian bands. I look forward to seeing if this board takes off. Carlyce

Okay, I guess I should add my 2 cents. I am a baritone who sings mostly for my church choir although I have been known to do some solos here and there. I currently sing tenor but for Christmas I sang bass. I tell my choir director to put me where she wants to as I am bi-vocal . I am a science teacher by trade although I eventually would like to go back to school and get the training involved with singing so as to perhaps do some professional work.

Hi everyone. I'll join in. I just added my interests to my profile, and poof! This message board appeared! I am tickled to find all of you! I belong to a small church and help lead the music portion of the worship. I love to sing, and the Lord has really blessed me with being able to help out at our church. I have noticed since my surgery that I have a lot more lung capacity. I have lost 60 lbs so far, and I have another 60-80 lbs to lose. Can't wait to see how much more lung capacity I get! Blessings to all. Peg
