Topic: RE: Calling all singers!
I am glad to hear that you have returned to school. I know what you mean about the breathing patterns. It takes some adjustment, but it can be done. Congrats on your surgery. The first year or so as a post op is fun! Enjoy it.

I am glad to know this board exists. I am just learning about all the message boards available. Would love to hear from other singers.
Topic: RE: Singing while laying down????
Your diaphram and lungs don't expand as easily while you're lying down due to the pressure of whatever surface you are on. It doesn't make a lot of sense but that's how it works.

Topic: Singing while laying down????
I find that it is harder to sing while laying down. I know that it has to do something with breathing. But I want to know exactly why it is harder. If someone could tell me that would be great!!
