I didn't go to Bogota for my WLS, but Cali instead. I have read some people's accounts of their experience with Affordable Bariatrics and they seem to be quite positive.

Are there any post-op'ers that have flown to Bogota, Colombia to have gastric bypass via Affordable Bariatrics w/ Drs. Valencia & Silva? Or are there any pre-ops considering going down there? Or any that have bought OR thinking of getting the wls awareness BOGOTA Bound wristband prior to their trip there? Is anyone from NYC, btw? If so to any of the above, give me a shout. Seeking peers cuz I want 2 have my Lap RNY performed there.

Topic: Where to review surgeon?
Hi, all. I had a VSG in Brazil a year and a half ago, and I'd like to make a short post reviewing ( & recommending) my surgeon.
I have not spent a lot of time on this site since my VSG, so I'm a little confused about how to maneuver in this place.
Can anyone tell me where I should submit a review of my surgeon?

Hi my name is janet I am from the ontario board, I had gastric bypass RNY on June the 6th and I am travelling to el salvador in February. Could someone please send a note to me in spanish explaining what this surgery is and how to treat someone that has dad it as I would like to carry it with me just incase. Thank you janet

Yo soy de Costa Rica, soy nueva en esta pagina asi q como comprenderas me ha costado mucho escribir pues me decian q tenia q ser aprobada por el moderador y bueno, te escribo x q no muchos hablan español y me pasan las tuyas mi ingles no es muy bueno, mañana tengo mi operacion de sleeve y supondras q estoy un poco ansiosa o nerviosa o no se como, espero q todo salga bien y asi poder despues comunicarnos para ver como nos va con esto, saludos
