Hi, I am 12 weeks post op and am very interested in going to a support group. I would love to share my experiences and learn from other's. I am starting up a support group in the Wenatchee Valley area and am inviting anyone who is interested to please contact me through my email which is [email protected] I have a list of about 130 names I have gleaned and am in the process of contacting from the Obesity Help website but suspect that there are more folks out there that I have not found yet. Hi folks, A personal request from me: If you have meetings that you are involved with in NC, would you mind too much posting your meetings out on our NC support group calendar? It's a Yahoogroup that we use to get information out to folks in NC about WLS, support group meetings around the state, etc. If you wouldn't mind, go to the Yahoogroup at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NC_WLS_Information_and_Support/ and click on the Join button, then go to calendar, and add the meeting info to the calendar. This will help others in your area to know about the meetings, and increase attendance, too! If you would like, there is a message board there with all kinds of info and discussions, as well. You can either receive posts as email, read them on the website without downloading to your computer, or you can read a daily digest. Thanks so much! Donna Earley
