strange question

I heard somewhere that poeple can invite negative (and positive spirits) into ones home by opening a door- unintenionally by uses things such as ouiji boards, calling spirits, etc. Would using tarot cards do this?

interesting question, i had a talk about this with a friend last month. In My Own Opinion(others may disagree): All divinatory tools access a part of ourselves already there, the tools are just the keys/doors do that part of the "self". I have known people who are gifted in tarot- amazing.. but then they tend to be "sensitve", empathic people... or who have trained that part of their "selves" I believe that it is the manner in which the person uses such tools that give them their "job" It is apart of the Underworld Mysteries- seeking the unknown to make known. I was discussing with my friend why people can have bad experiences with the Ouija board/witchboard, automatic writing...etc.. they are not prepared for it... my thoughts on the subject is that by the lore surrounding the board we give it energy, when using the board we are giving an open invite to ourselves... that is why it is so easy for someone to perhaps take on the "mask" of the otherworld. I don't believe in full posession... whatever energies you put in, is what will be used. that is why sheilding is key... (you have to learn to drive a car before you get your license) I don't believe these things are evil.. but like any divinatory tool... they need to be treated with respect, and preperation....
