Recovering from plastic surgery

I hope all of my fellow teachers are enjoying the Christmas break. I think it's funny that all the kids think that Christmas break is for them. When it is really us who needs it by Dec. I hope each of you are well. I am recovering from having a revision of my tummy tuck on Thursday Dec. 23. I have the post dropsy. I felt very well the first couple of days. But, yesterday and today have had the blahs. I will be off work the first week of Jan. But, I'm hopping that I might not have to be off the whole week. I would appreciate that any of you who pray, remember me as I recover. Thanks! Diane

Hey Diane, Congratulations on your revision. I am sure you will be thrilled with it by the time summer gets here. Are you taking pain meds? I know any time I've hada to be on those I get a little down. It seems they make me weepy or over emotional. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Christie

Thank you Christie for your thoughts and prayers. I think mostly my problem is that I still have my drainage tube. I can't have it removed until I'm under 25cc. And I'm still about 40cc. I want to be able to back to week by the 10th. Mostly, I hate inactivity. I am so use to going all the time either to church, school, or to association meeting, that when I have to stay put, I hate it after a few days. People ask me all the time when I'm going to slow down. And I always say there will be time for that when I'm dead. Hope you have a great 2005 and your students are ready to start back to work on Monday. Diane

I'm doing well but tire easily. I go back to work tomorrow. But, I start back with early and late bus duty So, I'll have to be at school by 7:00AM. I guess I will go to early tonight. I have been going to bed late for the past 3 weeks. I had to stop by school Friday to pick up some work. My students all had to give me a hug. Thay made my day.
