I am trying to re enter the teaching field and not having much kuck. Any tips would be appreciated. I had 12 years experience teaching in Junior High. I would appreciate any tips or job leads

Have you tried any of the job fairs in or around ? Send a resume to all the principals in schools interested in and maybe you will be lucky and they aren't hiring their neighbor's friend's cousin's brother. I teach 8th math/science here in Columbus and it is crazy how all the schools seem to be having cutbacks. Good luck ! Matt

Hi, Jack I don't know much about your state but here in Texas thousands of teachers are leaving due to the social security thing. I work in a large district in Corpus Christi and we have 400 teachers quitting this year. You have to keep on them because personnel depts. have no idea what to do now. Good Luck, Joanne

Joanne - I don't read the teaching board very much...just checked in and saw your post to Jack. WOW! What is the "social security" thing you are talking about?
