Let me think on this for a couple of days. One thing is to have decafe tea and splenda available. Most places only serve tea that has caffeine in it. Steamed veggies or meats high in protein and not just beef and pork. I'll think of some more, when I am more awake. Give me a couple of Days. Love Kathy

Teresa, this is hard on the blond brain. I only thin****il 5pm and give my brain a rest during the wee****il Monday morning at nidnight. So bare with me, I'm working on it. I know there's a formula with splenda and cornstarch to make powered sugar to use instead of using powder sugar. Just can't remember what it is. But give me time to think, I'm brain dead right now. But I'm working on it. Love Kathy

Hey Teresa, here is a suggestion. While I can't think of any actual recipes, suggest to your friend that she place some wls friendly items on an a la carte side item menu...items such as lowfat cottage cheese, low fat hard or semi-soft cheeses, chicken or beef broth that we could mix some protein into if we needed, drinks such as Crystal Light since we can't tolerate carbonation...these type of things would be wonderful and I know I would patronize a restaurant with those things on the menue since I would always be able to eat! Especially the cottage cheese as that is my comfort food!
