Had my Ct Scan...Not Good

Here's the latest report. Had the ct scan this morning, Dr. Colquitt's office called me to inform me that I have a lacerated spleen and have to go back to the ER at the hospital that did the scan in Rogersville. If they are talking surgery, then I want to be transferred to the Morristown Hospital as all my Dr.'s are in Morristown. I will let you know when I know something. Love to all, Kathy

What? how? Kathy dear, huggs and more huggs. Dear Lord, I come to lift Kathy up to you. You promised us healing and that we would not have more trials than we could bear. You are love and I ask that your love and healing be displayed in Kathy for your Glory Lord. What we need is a miracle done on her body. Full turn around. Strength and peace. Thank you Beth for the lovely prayer. I went to the ER, the Dr. on call called the Dr. at UT that read the films this morning. He told the ER Dr. that I didn't have a lacerated spleen. So after three hours they sent me home. Said to come back if the pain got worse. I am so confused right now, I don't have a clue what is going on. Dr. Colquitt's called and said the radiologist at UT that read the films said I needed to get back to the ER as my spleen was lacerated, so I cancel two appointments to just go over there for nothing. They still don't know why I am swollen, and in a lot of pain in the midsection. I'm just tired of the go arounds. Too many chief dr.'s and not enough of me to be spread around. The CT Scan with dye would lite up everything and I'm told it was the spleen, then told it wasn't. I'm tired of them keeping me in a confused state of mind. Again thank you, love ya, Kathy

Kathy, I have been off the board for a few days and just got back on to see the latest...I am so sorry about your accident and I hope the car co. does the right thing. Now, about your spleen. Dr. C's staff had to have seen something to say that you have a lacerated spleen so I would take his word for it. Is there anywhere else you could go other than the one ER...any other hospital close by? I am worried for you. Please keep us posted about what is going on. As always, you are in my prayers!
