Newbie..........hello......

Just wanted to say hi. I have been reading and watching for a long time now. I have my first appointment today with the surgeon. (Just to see if I qualify) I know I do! I can't see my feet! Anyway I have felt a little nervous about posting...but today I felt like I could ask for your support and prayers that everything has a positive out come. Thank you...........Deeanna

I'll be praying that your visit goes well and the surgeon you are seeing is the right one for you. What area of the state are you in and what hospital/surgeon are you planning to use? What procedure are you planning to have? Susan

Thanks for welcoming me Susan and Ellen. My appointment went well today. I met Dr. Hodge and his staff. They were all soooo nice! I have a list of things to complete. I am sure that everyone has to do them. I have to lose 17 lbs by june and keep it off until Aug. I have to wait the six months. I am sure you all are familiar with that. But I am very optimistic! I am planning on having the Roux-n-y procedure in Johnson City. The Doctor says if all goes well then I should be able to have the surgery in September.........Seems so far off. I live in Morristown and it is about an hours drive from my house to the doctors office and hospital. Well, thanks again for the welcome.......I will be posting more now Deeanna
