I'm Approved and I have my date....

I am so excited! I found out today that I was approved for surgery by UHC! My "new birthday" will be April 2nd! I'm still in shock! I am all excited and scared to death all at the same time. It's really an overwhelming feeling. I think I need to go cry but I can't figure out if it's because I'm happy or sacred. I think it must be both.

Thanks! I've been so tied-up tryin to call and report the good news to my family and friends that I forgot to go cry! I think I'm over it for now (anyway).

Congrats!!! You will have a lot of feelings within the next few weeks, one of the things I did to help me was to clean my closets, because it felt sooooo good to box up clothes that I knew I would never be in again. Don't get me wrong, I have done this a million times, but this time was different, I knew that next season I would never be in them again. I call it nervous energy, but it sure helps to keep your mind busy and feel good at the same time. I did not give them away until after my surgery, just in case something happened, but when I got a little nervous or doubt my decision, I would look at that box and it sure helped. I think we have all been there! I broke down and bawled like a baby when I got my approval! I'm so happy for you!

OMGoodness! I was like WOW! that was fast! Where are you having it done? Parkridge East or Memorial? Can I be your cheerleader? Thanks to all of you! I'm very excited! I'll keep y'all updated on my hubby too. He's anxious about his appointment today.
