On the other side...finally!

Hi all! I've made it to the other side!!!!!! Surgery on Monday and came home on Thursday. I'm feeling a little tired and sore but overall I'm very grateful and happy to be on the losing side now. As of this morning based on my scales I've lost 15 lbs. I'm sooooo amazed. I've had a couple of tough days of "head hunger" with one meltdown. I know this is a process and my body is detoxing! Just getting through one day at a time. I'll keep you guys updated! Thanks for all of your prayers and encouragement!! I am so grateful for everyone here!!!! (((HUGS)))

Glad to see that you are doing well, I hate that you have already experienced "head hunger", this is something that I have not had and hope that I never have. Shelia

That head hunger is a @#&*$%!!!!! But I have finally, after three months, learned to say, Okay, are you really hungry or are you bored, tired, sad, etc...that actually works...just asking myself. And sometimes the answer is, yes, I'm hungry. You will conquer it, I promise!!! 15 pounds already is so wonderful! I'm very happy for you and I'll continue to keep you in my prayers, Janie!
