Robitussin DM sugar content???

Anyone know the sugar content of Robitussion DM? I've had a nasty cough ever since I came home. It's a dry cough . Thinking it is my allergies. I've tried Robitussiin which is what I've always used but it hit me last night after I'd had a dose that I didn't check the sugar content. I didn't have any dumping but just wanted to make sure I was using the right thing. Thanks, Janie

I do not know the sugar content, but I have been told that it can cause dumping syndrome, however Robitussin does have a Sugar Free Robitussion DM you can use. It is a good thing that you did not have dumping with one dose, but I do not know if more than one dose might cause it. Hope you feel better soon!! Shelia

Janie and Sheila...actually, right after my surgery I had the flu and Dr. Houston's office told me that ANY of the Robitussins were approved for use...according to the office they are all either sugar free or so low as to not cause any problems. Hope this helps!

I went ahead and got the SF to be on the safe side. It actually tastes better than the regular. Thanks for the info! Janie
