Thankful

OK since Ms Susan has the body part appreciation and Ms Melinda has the WOW moment thing going I though it might be nice every once and a while to post about things we are thankful for.. I am thankful that God blessed me to get approved for surgery and also very thankful that I have all you to call "friend". It helps so much to know that I have friends to share with and give and receive support from. Just wanted to let you all know you are appreciated and you are all beautiful !!! {{Huggs}}

I too am thankful for all of my friends on this board. I feel so blessed that God has brought each and every one of you into my life. I am thankful for my restored health as a result of the weight loss. Being called "skinny" is just the icing on the cake and you all are the cherry and sprinkles on top of the icing! I am so thankful for the wonderful support system here on this messageboard. You gals absolutely ROCK and are so much fun!! I'm certainly blessed to have had this opportunity to better my quality of life through surgery and my current health status. I know I wouldn't have done this without it. Just being able to breathe without wheezing is such a wonderful thing to be thankful for. Most importantly, I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who has been so supportive from day one... and even through my shopping binges

I am very thankful for the opportunity to live life now and how this surgery has saved my life in more than one way. I am also very thankful for being lead to this support group because I feel that I have found friends here that I will have for the rest of my life. I am recently thankful for how everyone here listens and reaches out, I now have pants and clothes that fit me thanks to some absolute 'S here... I could go on and on and on and on and on for all the things I am thankful for, therefore THANK YOU GOD and EVERYONE for everything!!! Shelia

This is great, I'm glad this thread was started. I've been so depressed this week with my job loss and it made me take a close look at what I am thankful for, the blessings in my life. I'm thankful for my family and friends. I'm thankful for my obesity help friends, and my gift of health that Dr. McDowell gave me in January. I'm thankful for my 67.5 weight loss (-5lbs this week!), my opportunity to pursue my masters degree, and I'm thankful for the precious angel in my life...my 6 1/2 month old niece, Emmy. Too long of a list? lol. -Alyssa
