Info for Selmer area ?

I'm trying to get a job transfer and would be living in the Selmer - Michie area. If I'm successful, I'll need a surgeon for follow-up care. Is there someone REALLY good in that area? If not, how far away? Thanks! Deb

Hi Deb, I don't know of any surgeons any closer than Memphis or Nashville. I had my surgery done at Centennial in Nashville.(Dr. Houston) I have nothing but good things to say about him and the staff in his office (Holly is awesome) and the hospital. I have started a support group in the Jackson area which is pretty close to selmer (maybe 45 miles) and we would love to have you come to a meeting and join our group. There are folks in the group who have gone to Memphis for surgery and have done great as well. I'm sure some of them will answer. Good luck on your move and your WLS journey.
