I GOT APPROVED!!

I called Aetna today and was told I was approved yesterday! I'm sooooooooo excited! Does anyone that had Dr Spaw know how long ofter you get approved that you'll get your date? Dawn told me that she would call me Monday, but I found out today! I'm already ahead of her. Did anyone pig out before they started the liquid diet, that's what I plan to do this weekend. I'm on my way to the losing side, now I feel like I'll fit in with you all.

Tonya, You did not have to have surgery to "fit in with us" we have all been there and still share the same feelings, but I am so very glad that you are now going to be a "Loser" with us!!! I had Dr. Spaw and I found out on December 19th and had surgery on January 29th. I believe it could have been earlier, but I chose that date, because I had some things to handle prior to having surgery, not to mention the fact that my son was having his tonsils and adnoids removed two days after Christmas. I had two "Last Suppers" I went to the Melting Pot and Maggiano's and hate to admit it, but I enjoyed every last bite!!! I knew that I would never be able to go to there after my surgery, because of the type of food, cost vs. what I can eat. Are you coming to the support group meeting May 1 at 5:30, Tuesday? If so, I will get to meet you then!! Shelia

Shiela, I met you already, remember me, I was the last to walk out with you, Shiela, Pam nad Beth at the last meeting when your knee-hi fell down at the door. I won't be able to make the May 1st meeting, because I start a new position at my job Monday and I'll be in training all week, but I'll see you at the next one.

Oh yes, boy you really do need to get an Avatar posted!!! And now my of that funny moment is out!! (I did not share it!!! ) I hate that you will not be at the meeting, but maybe you can make it to the luncheon!! Shelia

I am so happy for you Tonya... I remember how I felt when I got approved... was looking over my old notebook today and a phone log that I had written "Got approved... WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!" LOL It brought back those memories all over again. I almost cried. It really hits me hard sometimes when I remember what life used to be like, and how much I have changed, and Thanks be to God for it.... Congrats!

Thanks! I can't wait to get all the details. I won't be at the support group meeting May 1st, because I start a new position within my job that won't allow me to attend. Let me know how it went without Pam.

Congrats to you Tonya!! You be a loser before you know it!! I didn't pig out per say before my liquid diet although I did treat myself to one last stek dinner before starting the liquid diet. Shame shame.. LOL
