I GOT APPROVED!!

I was approved January 3rd and had surgery January 31st. Hopefully, you will get a date very quickly. I did enjoy foods that I knew I would be giving up "for a while" and some that I honestly thought I would be giving up for good, but I did it in moderation. At first I thought January 31st would never get here and the next thing I knew it was time to head to the hospital. We'll miss you at the meeting Tuesday. Let us know when you get your date. Susan

Congrats Tonya!!! Hope you get a quick date set. I'm just a little over a week away and getting nervous!! Susan's right, it does go quickly. About eating before the liquid diet: I too ate several favorite things that I may or may not be able to eat after. I also had a family get together, and you know how that goes. A friend also took me out to dinner twice, once for ribs and once for crab legs!!! yahoo Enjoy what you want to, but don't overdo it. It probably makes it a harder transition to the liquid diet. I was at the last meeting, but I'm not sure who you are. I was in scrubs, on my way to work, as I will be this time too. Anyway, again congrats, and hope to meet you soon! ~~Elena

Congrads Tonya! I Know how you feel. My surgeon is Dr.McDowell and he is in Dr.Spaw's office. I was approved on 4/20/7 and I am haveing surgery on 5/7/7. Everything goes really fast from here. I so happy for you.
