May 7th!!!

My date is May 7th and this Liquid diet has me very weak. Any ideas on how to get some energy? I hope to meet some of you at the meeting next Tuesday and what is the luncheon everyone's talking about?

We get together the second Saturday of each month. Usually at a restaurant in the Cool Springs area. That area has a lot of restaurants to choose from and it is a bit more central to all participants. We always post the location & time during the week leading up to the luncheon and all are welcome. We don't care if you are pre-op, post-op, or a support person. It doesn't matter which hospital, doctor, or procedure you had or are considering. It's just a time for us to get together and get to know each other a bit better and put a face & personality to a poster on the board. I realize that you will have just gone home from the hospital when we meet in May. Hopefully you will feel up to joining us in June. I'll see you Tuesday night at the support group meeting.

Hey Susan, Melinda and I can't come on the 12th...could we do it the following week? Also, I was thinking of going ahead and planning the "girl's slumber party" for that weekend...would you like to combine the two. I want to do it in May since my summer classes start the first of June but I have a camping trip the weekend of the 12th and a family reunion the last weekend of May...what do you think? Oh, you should be getting your outfit soon, I finally mailed it Wednesday...hope you love it!

Tywanna, I hope that the energy will get better, I did not have any problems with the liquid diet for some reason, I did the SF Carnation Instant Breakfast so that may have helped me. I hope to see you at the meeting as well!!! Shelia

How long did you have to wait for your date after you were approved?

Susan Kym and I cant come that day. Is there anyway we hcould postpone for week later? doubbt it and thats ok but it was worth asking...!!
