When it rains.....you know the old saying
Well, I haven't been in for a while....want to take a guess as to why??
I fell, in my bathroom and have hurt my back so severely I went to the ER.
At Cookeville hospital.
They made me wait on a hard table for 4 hours and made me lay on my back (which I cannot do and haven't done in over 4 years because of my herniated spine) the doctor forced my legs over and rolled me onto my back and I am now unable to stand without help or sit without pain medications.
And since I sleep in a recliner you can only imagine how wonderfully I am doing.....
Anyway, I am looking in to finding a local doctor that is taking patients and takes Medicare and is surgery friendly.
If any of you know of a doctor in Cookeville that is taking new patients and takes Medicare and will be willing to assist me with my medical care please e-mail me.
I have called four doctors already and they keep telling me no.
I am going to have to do something folks....I am miserable and I am in bad shape......there has to be a doctor out there somewhere that will take me ...
There is a silver lining to every bad thing....my faith in God has been strengthened and I have never felt more loved by my heavenly Father.
Sometimes we have to have a few bad days before the really great ones come along.
This all has really changed me though.
I will NOT be a slave to my room anymore.
I will NOT be a slave to my body anymore.
I will NOT let food be my only comfort.
I will NOT allow myself to become any larger than I have already.
I topped at whopping 445 on the scales at the hospital.
But I have stopped all soft drinks. I am drinking water only and I am making a huge effort in watching what I eat and how much I eat.
So, hang in there with me gals/guys.... we will overcome!!!!!
mucho love to you all.
Tina
