Good News

Good afternoon every one I called my doctor's office today and they told me that what we had read on the internet was old and that medicare will pay for people over 64 if they meet the guide lines so thanks to every one for the advice and support over this. Also I foung out that I don't have to be 100 lbs over weight I just have a BMI of 35 or over and m secondary says a BMI of 40 so I will keep it above 40. Thanks every one. Lee Lee

Thanks Susan,I told my Hubby that I sure hated to lose all my new friends. I sure would, you all have made me feel excepted like I never felt before. I always thought people were looking down thiey noses at me for being fat, of course you all know where I am coming from. I sure want to be on that loser bench with you all. I wish you lived closer to me I want to buy a digital camara and the tight wad doesn't think I need one so he is no help and the people at wal mart aren't much help. I don't have a lot to spend on one so could you suggest one that is around $200, it will have to be simple. Lee Lee

Thanks Kathy, We were really sweating bullets because after hearing what yours cost we knew we wouldn't spend that much, it would really cut into our savings. My doctor said it would only cost us $27,000 so that was a relief too in case medicare comes up with something new to about. I hope you are doing better after the ordeal you went through. I am a bit confused about medicare paying for you, didn't you have your surgery at the VA hospital? Doesn't the miltary pays for the vets? I'm sorry for asking the questions but I am the nosest person in the world or so my huband says. Lee Lee

Thank you my friend, it is good to see you back on the board again. I just posted here and on the main board that I will be starting my group in July so maybe somebody will want to join me.
