I found dreamfields lasagna the other night, and was so happy! Mike makes good lasagna, so I asked if he would make this one... and he did... well once I got started, for two days I could not stop! The carbs in that lasagna, while low, I have no idea why, but once it got in my system, I wanted MORE MORE MORE MORE!!! Have you had the same reaction to this, or any other type of food? I think we should warn each other in case its something in the product/food, and not just a personal trigger food. Thoughts?

Yep, anytime I eat pasta (the good kind or regular kind) I crave MORE. Same goes for bread. That is why I MUST stay away. I may taste the Dh pasta at a restaurant, but cant keep it in the house. That was my problem before surgery, so I dont tempt myself with it afterward. I am going to try the eggplant lasagna (or is it zucchini?). Cause in reality, it is the sauce and cheese I love, not the noodles. Hope this helps chickie!

I've been making zucchini lasagna for years. It's one of those old WW tricks. I can't handle any kind of pasta post-op. It sits like a rock in my pouch. The only time I can tolerate pasta is when chef makes his macaroni & cheese at school and I have like 3 bites. I don't know what he does to it, but it takes care of that craving until the next time he makes it. Thankfully he doesn't make it for lunch very often. I have made the zucchini lasagna since surgery and you are right, it's the sauce and cheese that I love.

HI I want the recipe. Pasta doesn't bother me unless I try and eat too much. One thing I hate and that's white rice, reminds me of maggots. LOL, but I love Lasagna, just not squash. Love kathy

I wasnt going ot, but Linda on B.E. had a recipe for lasagna and it did sound good. So I made it using squa**** is a different consistency but it tastes good. I like it better once all the cheese and sauces combine and set up... so tomororw it will be even better... There is a little "treat" I gave myself today. I love strawberries so I take 3... (I will admit this isnt full of protein, nor is it very good for us)... and put in some pecans, and a few spring salad leaves, some blue cheese crumbles, and sugar free rasberry vinagrette... I have a teeny tiny california salad like o'charleys serves, only I didn't have any chicken breast to put on top... I put a few grapes into it the other day. It was kind of like a dessert (fruit salad). I enjoyed it.
