I GOT A DATE!

I have surgery May 15th, my pre-op test are Wed May 9th. I start my pre-op diet TOMORROW! Can anyone tell me what to expect from the pre-op test? I'm so excited! I'm about to be on the losing side Thanks for all the suport everyone! I know I don't post much, but you all have given me much support and I've learned so much from you all! I'm a big lurker, mostly at work. I got caught today lurking and my team lead had to say something to me anyway I can't wait!

Yes congratulations, Tonya! that is great! My preop test was an ekg... these little pad thingies they put on your chest but you dont have to do anything, also some labwork. That's all I had to get done... Now... here's the thing. After surgery, No More Lurking! That means we expect full participation! lol

Congrats Tonya, You are on your way! My pre-op was the same as Melinda, an EKG, draw some blood and pee in a cup. That's it. My doc would have required and upper GI series, but I had already done one in the last few weeks. Good luck ~~Elena

Congratulations Tonya! My pre-op consisted of EKG, upper GI, Chest x-ray, blood work, urine, and spoke with nurse anesthetist. Easy, easy! Wow, less than 2 weeks away.

Congratulations! My pre-ops were the same as Susan's but minus the upper GI and chest x-ray. You will breeze through it...and be on the loser's bench soon! Your surgery is on my Mommy's birthday so I only have good thoughts!
