Believe it or not, it is common.  And, could be gas pain.  My shoulder blade used to hurt a bit realy sharp, but it went away on its own.

Hi, Thanks for replying,  it does fill just like the gas pain in my shoulder I had post ok.  I just did not realize it would fill this way after a fill.  It is some better today.  Hope you are doing well. Thanks, Sherry C

Left shoulder pain in women could be a sign of many things. If you are still suffering from it I would suggest you call your doctor. Many times women will have pain in different areas than men when it comes to heart problems. I am not suggesting you are having heart problems but usually left arm pain is not a good thing. Many people when stressed have aches and pains in thier joints... so that could be all it is..You might have pulled your shoulder moving around or something. Better to be safe and check with your doctor if it persists... Hope you are feeling TONS better today!

Shoulder pain post operatively could be a sign of many things. Have it checked out by your doctor, or at least call the office and talk to the nurse about it. Be sure to tell her when it started and the nature of the pain. And getting the advise of the people here on the boards is great because collectively they've experienced so many things but always call your doctor when you have questions, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
