I'm still here

Good Morning LeeLee!!
I am sorry I missed the meeting. Did Ya'll have a crowd?... Have you ever been fishing at Harmon's Creek,in Camden,TN?......Some real good fishing there. When I was younger..My Daddy had a trailer up on the lake...we spent almost every weekend up at the lake....They still rent out cabins and such. Daddy sold out trailer when my sisters and i started dating...my parents couldn't be at two places at once...............lol........... Now that I am alomst 45 I wish we had kept our place up there it would have been a great weekend get away!!.....................I went to the nutritional consult with Kat Wednesday...she was great!..I had major issues getting there....I got lost!
...I am not at all familiar with Memphis....It is a big place....I go to the Wolfe Chase mall alot...but that is my extent....I left Humboldt at 6:30am got to the Mall area by 7:30.....got lost...didn't find the place until 9AM!!
Next time I go....I am riding the TennCare Van...my nerves were just tore up. I called the pahrmacy on the way into Jackson and had them fill a prescription for my nerve pills....The Cardio doc..wrote the prescription a couple of months ago just in case i started getting nervous...before my surgery or after my surgery.......I needed it so.......bad.............................I hope you get to catch alot of fish!!

Dear Leticia, Poor you! I can really empathise with how you must have felt being all turned around and in a strange area. I only drive on rarely myself as I am a nervous driver, but if I am ever to get to any of the meetings I am going to have to grit my teeth and try. I have been wanting to get too Dr. Fryes noontime meetings but have not gotten up the courage yet
. I wish there was some type of carpool that had a brave driver LOL.
I am glad you made it home safe and sound.

Hey Leticia we missed you Darlene and I were looking forward to meeting you. You are welcome to come to my first meeting July 9th at the Lexington library at 6 pm it is right on 412 after you get into town. Yes there were quite a few there and quite a few are coming on the 9th.
We have been to Memphis twice and got lost both times and missed a road both times when we got back to Lexington. I was always good with directions when we lived in Ohio but here I get turned around a lot and hubby is useless when it comes to directions or maps.
We didn't catch a thing it got to hot to say very long. Talk to you later.
Lee Lee

Hey... maybe when the July 9th meeting rolls around...Darlene or someone will let me ride with them...I see Kat on the 10th at 9:30....and I am riding the Tenn Care van!.....I don't really know anyone except you and Darlene...Have you put an ad in the newspaper about your meeting?
My car got broke in Wednesday night....they stole all my coins.... ..but nothing else...come to find out about 30 cars.. were broken into........................All they took from everyone was coins...well any kind of money. Have a good weekend!

Hey Juanita I have to depend on Darlene for the ride hubby will not let me drive that far. If not July then Aug. because I want to come before my surgery so I can make a pig of myself one last time of course after being on this diet for almost 4 months I don;t eat a whole lot. Thanks for the date I will be seeing Darlene the 9th at my meeting. Sending lots of
, hugs &
your way until I can hug you all Lee Lee

There you are! I've been missing you.
The next luncheon will be July 14th, location is yet to be decided. It will be somewhere in the Cool Springs area. I look forward to meeting you and Darlene.
Several of us will be participating in the Walk from Obesity. The plan is to have lunch together afterwards since we will all be together anyway and we can do something in downtown Nashville. I am on the planning committee for the walk so I will be posting more detail as it gets closer.
Just so you know too, the Walk and our monthly luncheons, are open to anyone. We welcome all pre-op, post-op, thinking about surgery, and support people. It doesn't matter what hospital or surgeon you are with or where you are on the journey. We are all family and are here to support each other.
