Although I can't think of the specific folks by name there are several people in my support group that have used Dr. Lynch.    I'm 6 weeks out from RNY (Dr. Spaw) was my surgeon and my experience so far have been very positive.  I haven't  heard anything to worry you about Dr. Lynch.  You may just be nervous as it is a major change.   Praying for a complication free surgery for you.

I can't think of anyone on this board who used Dr. Lynch. I'm sure there's someone though. Like Pam said, there are several in our support group at Baptist who have used him and they all are very pleased. It is normal to be nervous at this stage. You'll do just fine!

Sorry, I don't know anything personally about your Doc. But, I would like to wish you the best of luck!

Missy, please don't take this the wrong way, but I would have personally researched the doc before I even agreed to let him reroute my intestines... it would have saved you from being so nervous about using him. Have you not even met with him yet?? I think this should be applied to any pre-op reading this: Please, make sure you are 100% confident in your choice of surgeon. Knowing that I was in good hands going into surgery, eased a lot of tension and nervousness. I was pretty calm going into surgery and personally feel I have had great success because of my choice of surgeon.

Again, congratulations and good luck hun!

That is good! The way you posted your message really worried me... made it sound like you had never met him or didn't know anything about him. I'm sure you're in good hands. Take care

There is a way to find out people on these boards that have had him as a surgern.  While reading these messages on the left hand side of the screen there is a "Other Tennessee Resources" and under it there is a link FIND A BARIATRIC SURGEON.  Click on that and it'll take you to a huge page of doctors, if you can't find him on there you can look up to the top of the page there is a link for Insurance questions and answers.  I found many people on there that have the name of their doctors listed.  Just something to try hope it helps! I found 3 people that have posted their reviews on him, they are Brooke Pate, Cindy Price, and Gennifer Green, all 3 of these people can be found using at the top of this screen PEOPLE then just type in their names and it'll bring up their blogs where you can send them a personal email threw this site to ask more questions to them if you want.  Just trying to help some.

Hi Missy,  I used Dr Lynch.  He's a great surgeon and has an excellent bedside manner.  He will take time to discuss things when you need to and doesn't make you feel like an idiot.  I had no complications and all went well.  Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I knew there was at least one of his patients on here who posted regularly. I was just having a "Senior Moment" and couldn't think of the name. Sorry Elena! I've only met Dr. Lynch in a casual setting, and I spoke as an "after" at one of his seminars. I know he struck me as a very nice man. Also very knowledgable and compassionate.

Missy, Try this link, it has a few testimonials.  Congrats on being so close to surgery and that nasty old liquid diet being over.  I am so excited for you and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers on your new rebirthday. Darlene H
