Newbie here. I have just finished my 6 mo pre-op diet and will send my info to the Drs. office on Monday. Hopefully it won't be too long until I get a date. I'm going for the lapband. Is there a support group in Jackson or nearby I could go to? I would really like to meet some people that have acutally had it done. Thanks in advance for any advice/help. I'm sure I will need a lot I am going to Dr. Woodman in Memphis. Has anyone had their surgery by him?

Susan, Hi I am Darlene Hughes and I do lead a support group in Jackson. We hold the meeting at The Pythian Building 3rd Floor John A Roberg Hall 204 East Main St Jackson, Tn 38301 it is located behind the courthouse downtown We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 pm so our next meeting will be July 24th.
