I learned today that we have a mutual friend. I go to church with Colleen and her son Daniel. Now, the 2 of you have got to be at the luncheon Saturday so we can meet in person!

Hi Susan, Colleen called me after church to tell me.  She was real surprised when she saw you.  You must have made quite an impression on her.  I called Scott at home when I saw this post.  I am staying at my mother's this week while they are on vacation with R.J. and another grandson, so we are separated for the time being.  It is like a mini vacation for each of us except one keeps calling the other.  Scott says he will be there on Saturday.  I still haven't decided, I guess it depends where you pick to eat.  Also, R.J. will be with us.  Will that be a problem, he's 9?  Have a good evening. Please feel free to bring R.J. too.  When Colleen told me she had a friend who was 2 months out and her husband was wanting to have surgery too, I asked if her friend had surgery here in Nashville. When her answer was affirmative, my next question was "Is her name Beth?" LOL It is definitely a small world! We always try to pick a place that will have something even a fairly recent post-op can eat. Do you have any suggestions of what you can eat right now? We have not decided for sure on Shogun. I need to do some research this week.

Hi Susan, I'll eat what I can whereever I am at.  Shogun will do if that's what everybody wants.  Have a great day! Beth

Hi Susan, I think that Carolyn "LeeLee" posted earlier that she and I wouldn't be able to attend this one, but we are going to try to come to the August luncheon and since I will be in Nashville for the Walk in Sept., i may get to come to that one too.  I look forward to getting to meet all of you, I feel like I know you all so well anyway. Sorry to hear that the 2 of you won't be able to make it. I will be out of town the Saturday of the August luncheon so I will miss you then.  I'm thinking of going to the Centennial support group meeting tomorrow night since I missed my regular meeting this month. If you are there, I'll look forward to meeting you then.

Susan: When does the Centennial support group meet?  I wasn't able to go to Baptist last week and I need to attend a support group session before my surgery (in two weeks!) Any information would be appreciated. Freddie

Hey Freddie, the support group meeting at Centennial starts at 6. I'm going to follow Beth's (rjsmom) directions to the location. I'll plan on seeing you there. Anyone else going?

Hi Freddie, We will meet tomorrow in the hospital, third floor classroom.  Park in the parking garage and take the elevators to the third floor, exit and veer to your right and then left.  Signs should be posted.   Hope to see you there.  Beth
