Hi Everybody,   I haven't posted lately, the weight loss is going great. I've lost 84 pounds in 10 weeks. The problem (my question) is I have to have knee surgery to repair a torn cartilage in my left knee. Is there anything I should expect different since I've had a resized / rerouted digestive tract. I made it clear to my ortho surgeon that I had just had an RNY. I really don't expect anything different but I just thought I would ask. Steve

I don't have an answer for you regarding your knee surgery and expections, but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss.  That is awesome.  Keep up the great work.

I am unsure about the knee surgery.Sseems that if you made sure to notify the doctor about your RNY and everything is still a go I would hope he/she (doctor) would let you know about any risk or concerns. Wishing you the best and Congrats on your weight loss you are doing great!! Have you asked or advised your Gastric Surgeon know about your knee surgery maybe they would know of any complications or concerns you would need to be aware of.
