Rhumatoid Arthritis and WLS

I was just looking for some input on anyone that has RA and has had WLS or is looking to have it.  I have had this painful disease since 2001, and with all my weight I am in so much pain and I am so hoping that this surgery will help with my pain.  I am sure that it will, because the weight makes it so hard to get around.  I would love to hear from anyone that has or knows of anyone who has RA and has had or wanting to have WLS... I have RA and Fibromyalgia. I am having a Lap Band next week...  the 27th! I will be glad to tell you how I feel after I lose some weight :)
