I missed my appt

For the past month I have been looking forward to my 18 month check up TODAY, Friday, July 27th. My appointment was yesterday, Thursday! Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I felt like such a dolt when I opened my calendar at work today and it told me my appt was overdue. I had entered it correctly in my calendar so why did I have Friday on my brain?! I couldn't have made it yesterday anyway since I needed to be with my daughter. I did call Mai and she was able to reschedule me for next Thursday at the same time. I will make sure I don't miss that one!  I have a colonoscopy scheduled for August 8th and I want to talk to Dr. Spaw before I have that done. Of course the timing and nature of this test means that I will miss the August support group meeting at Baptist on August 7th. Why did I schedule the test for the 8th?  The speaker for August is supposed to be a plastic surgeon and I really wanted to be there. All of my Baptist peeps will have to listen extra hard for me and make sure to get me a copy of any handouts. Can I just have a "do-over" for the month of July? I feel like I haven't done anything right this month. Yes I would like some cheese with my whine!

Hey Susan! Don't be so hard on yourself about the missed appt!!!  You have had a lot on your mind lately...."Mother Hen"....worrying about her chicks (your daugther, Melinda, to name a few)!  I am hoping to be at the August 7th support group meeting and I'll take good notes! Rhonda
