It was very infomative and I thought that it would either take my enthusiasm away or add to it and it added to it.  Dr. Dyer seemed like a straight forward and upfront.

Welcome, I also have Dr. Dyer as my surgeon.  He did my wife's surgery 2 months ago, and I like his no nonsense approach.  The Tennessee is the best board around.  If you have any questions, or just want to vent, this is the place!  Hazzard Smileys

Actually, I just showed my wife all of the paperwork that they gave me at the seminar.  I had planned on self paying because I didn't think my insurance allowed bariatric surgery, but my wife just pointed out that FirstHealth is on there.  Don't know if I should just self-pay or go through all of their hoops.  Anybody used FirstHealth before??

The very first to do is call the insurance company to see if it is excluded in your policy.  Centennial is an awesome place!!!

Having finished my 4th stay at Centennial, I must say, yes it is a great place.  We did have a problem with a nurse but we spoke with someone about it, and the nurse apologized to my mother.  They try to make it right if something is broken...   I always loved Dr. Hottie, I mean, Dr. Houston lol haha. But he is special to me as he worked all week for my good... trying to fix the problems and ended up doing 2 surgeries.  I am grateful to him for the care he has provided, and the nurses at Centennial, and the housekeeping staff, and nutritional services folks are precious.  My mom agrees.
