Was it dumping syndrome?
Well, I got sick last night.
I had ate some crackers around 8:30 and then at 9:20 drank a sip or two of water to take some medication and within 30 minutes...I was feeling warm, stomach was aching, and well...barfed. Not a good feeling. So was it dumping syndrome or just a case of I should have waited that 1+ hour(s) before drinking?

That doesn't sound like what I have experienced as dumping. That sounds more like something not setting well and/or overfilling your pouch. It could have been a mild dumping episode though.
My dumping experiences have involved, severe abdominal cramps, sweating, shakes, dizziness, nausea, heart racing, and diarrhea. I have had mild dumping episodes that just involved mild cramping, heart racing, and shakes. I have also had one episode where I was sure I was going to die!
The things that tend to make me dump are high fat and high sugar on an otherwise empty stomach. If I have a few bites of something high fat/high sugar after I've had a high protein meal I haven't had a problem.
That said, I did have a mild dumping episode on 6 (six) grapes. They weren't even big grapes!

I think this may be one of those "who knows" questions! I have ate horribly with no problems, and the next day dump on two spoons of peas! Just this morning, I dumped horribly and the only thing I had eaten today was one sugar free Life Savers! Seriously...I have absolutely no idea what made me dump. The only thing I can figure is the half cup of Breyer's carb smart I had about 2am hit me several hours later. Go figure!
For my two cents worth, I think it depends on how many crackers you ate...you didn't say. If it was only a couple, then I don't think it would make you dump, but more than three or four and you could have just crossed that threshold...whatever it was, I hope you are feeling better!
