Hey Everybody! What is your favorite sugar free syrup and how do you use it?   I have a whole shelf in my pantry lined with various flavors.   I  love DaVinci Chocolate sauce.  It is a little bit thicker than the syrup and is wonderful for making a delicious mocha latte.  I add White Chocolate or regular chocolate in addition to the sauce.  Yummy for my tummy! So...what is your favorite? Freddie

Hi Annrenee! I use chocolate syrup in just about everything!  I put it in my coffee with a little sugar free creamer (I like Hazelnut), I use it in protein shakes (I like Matrix perfect chocolate with chocolate syrup and Peanut Wonder-also available at Publix).  You can also mix a little in with some ricotta, raspberry syrup and cocoa powder...Way too yummy!  Think of it as a liquid sweetener. I think I am going to try Susan's suggestion of sugar free Hershey's.  I have always loved Hershey's syrup and if Susan likes it...well, it would just have to be good.  Right? :)  Freddie

Do I have to limit it to one? The ones I use most often are strawberry, banana and caramel. I use the strawberry & banana in my gladiator smoothie. The caramel I like in coffee or in a chocolate smoothie. My all time favorite during the winter is eggnog. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE eggnog but it is not weight loss friendly, as we all know. I make my own eggnog protein using the eggnog syrup in a vanilla protein smoothie. Sometimes I add a sprinkle of nutmeg. Last winter I went through 2 1/2 bottles of the syrup. Have you tried SF Hershey's chocolate syrup? I've tried several different SF chocolate sauces and syrups, Hershey's is without a doubt the best. The only place I've found the sugar free is Publix. I can find the "light" other places but not sugar free. I can't tell the difference between the SF and the regular as far as taste & texture goes.

Hey Susan!

Your banana split smoothie is "The Money!"  Do you use the strawberry and banana syrup in it?

I'm going to have to try that eggnog syrup.  I adore eggnog!!!!!   I've never tried the sugar free Hershey's.  I will have to make a Publix run when I run out of DaVinci.  I always try to use what I have before adding yet another bottle.  I'm so excited!  I think that I have exchanged addictions...from food to sugar free syrup!  The DaVinci chocolate sauce is really nasty on its own but when you add it to milk or coffee...it is heaven.  I would prefer something that I can buy locally so Hershey...here I come!

For the banana split smoothie I use strawberry, banana and pineapple DaVinci syrups and SF Hershey's for the chocolate. Melinda is the one who got me thinking about what would need to go into the smoothie. It just took a little experimenting. I love that one!

Yes, you get the Gladiator smoothie and the powder at Smoothie King. For a premade smoothie, I like the strawberry-banana Gladiator.  My favorite Gladiator powder is Strawberry. I bought the chocolate too but the Matrix 5.0 is better. The best powder I've EVER tried is the Whey Gourmet, any flavor. As for recipes, experiment. For my banana split smoothie I just thought about the parts of a banana split, vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce, pineapple sauce, chocolate sauce, a banana, and figured out how to put a little bit of each ingredient into a smoothie. The vanilla protein powder is the "ice cream" base and then add the rest.
