17 Months Today !!!

I am getting so excited !! I am 17 months out and I have lost  190 pounds!!!! Only 10 more lbs till I reach the 200 lbs lost mark! You all will have to give me suggestions how to celebrate the Double Century mark. I have thought about getting myself a "promise" ring as a reminder of where I was and who I have become. What do you guys think?  I have not wore jewelry since I was married so I'm kind of curious what size ring I wear now. I wore a 11 then but that was 7 or more years ago. Any ideas are appreciated.

Way to go my Friend!  I sit here at my computer trying to think of what to type...I know, me at a loss for words!  Anyway, you deserve the biggest, baddest, and most beautiful promise ring you can find! You are not only my friend, but an inspiration!  Congrats on the 17 months!  I have already decided, when I reach goal, I am going for a tattoo!  Beth says she will believe it when she sees it!  anyway, you deserve what ever you want!  See you on Saturday!

You’ll probably be amazed when you check your ring size. I forgot how many sizes down we had to go when they resized Jenny’s wedding ring after her surgery, but it was quite a bit. I’m at the point now where my wedding band fits on my index finger! 

Congrats to you Joe. I have no rings at all right now so I have no idea what size I wear guess I will find out soon!

I think the ring is a wonderful idea! I agree with Scott, you deserve something wonderful!! You are doing an amazing job. We have watched you change so much. I remember at the first luncheon, you were so quiet and shy. Sue and I were chuckling during lunch after the Walk because you and Misty, our 2 "quiet" ones, were sitting there just chattering away. Thanks Susan. I am slowly coming out of my shell and yes I remember the first luch I went to I barely said a word. My how things have changed. Misty probaly wishes I would go back to my quiet self again. : )
