I know it has been a long time since I have posted... please forgive me! We are in the middle of high school football season, and between practices, games and my "other life"... I don't have much time to barely look up! I miss the camaraderie from this site... I miss hearing about you... I have read some of the latest posts and am blown away at what has been going on in your lives!

Now, let me update you what has been going on in mne!
I am now 6 months out of having WLS, and as of this date I am down 112 lbs! Whoo hooo! I cannot tell you what a difference that this surgery has made in my life!
I feel better than I think I ever have in my life....the biggest challenge I have right now is clothes! I have absolutely no fall and winter clothes. I am trying to get rid of all of the stuff I cant wear - ha ha.. I know bad problem to have, huh?!?
I have had 4 friends have WLS since I have, and we are constantly amazed at the changes going on with us. At my church, there are 3 of us on the front row of the choir that have had the surgery - and they call us the "shrinking sisters"....
I just wanted to say hello, and hopefully will get to come to a Sat. get-to-gether with RhondaB soon! Can't wait to actually meet you guys in person.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support you gave me, and continue to do for others. May God richly bless you!

WOW Sonya, 112 pounds gone in six months!  That's fantastic.  You've lost either a ninth grader or a runway model!!!!!        Congrats!  I know you feel like a new woman (and probably look like one too.  Hope to see you at the next luncheon.  Take care!
