Last Six Month Dr. Visit

Well, I went to my last six month dr. visit today, lost another 8 pounds.  HE is faxing all of my paper work over to Vanderbuilt tomorrow.  So now with fingers and toes crossed adn a hugh group of praying friends, we'll see what happens.  I haven't updated my ticker yet, but I have lost a total of 39 pounds .  I wanted to thank you all for all of the advise you have given to this point, not just to me but to the whole board.  I could have not found a nicer group of people to go thur this journey with.  Thanks Scott and Beth for suggesting it.  Melissa

Welcome to the waiting game!  We are doing it with Scott now too.  I hated mine and was on the phone every other day until they got it and I heard, one way or the other!  Keep us posted.  Have you seen the update on Scott's blog?  Mama Jo is really going to get him.  Should be fun!  Take care.

Congratulations on completing your six months!  For me...that was the hardest (and most emotional) part of my journey.  I got turned down twice before getting approved.  The second time I cried for two days and then just handled it.  I called my insurance company and took care of it and now it is just a memory.  The moral of this story is...no matter what...it will all work out! I'm so happy for you!  Keep us posted! Freddie
