Eww I'm so happy that I just can't stand it!  Tim & I picked out a Christmas tree, and my decorations are metallic dark blue, tealish blue, silver powdery blue, white, silver.  I love it... I love it... I love it!  Its too cute!    We have a silver tree skirt... and I picked out the gift wrap for presents to match the tree.  Ok am I OCD or does anyone else do that too?  SO....  tell us what your Christmas tree colors are!?

Not putting up tree this year, we are going to be out of town and we are not going to be seeing our grandaughter this year. DH usually goes all out, both inside and out, but not this year. He done some outside, but that is about it. Now don't go calling us Bah-Humbug, cause, that we ain't............HEHEHE. We have just got alot going on this year, we leave the 18th for Gatlinburg and will be there for almost a week. Not sure if the cabin that we have there will have a tree u*****t, if so that will be cool. If we did put one up I am sure that it would be done in purple, go figure........... Cheryl

We have no theme or color scheme....I just have a bunch of decorations that I got on sale after christmas and just load 'em up on the tree. Hubby and I do pick out one special ornament each year though. However, we're not putting up a tree this year. Hubby and I usually spoil each other rotten in the gift giving area. But with the baby, we're pretty much giving up christmas in order to buy baby stuff. Darren said that he would feel obligated to buy something for me to put under the christmas tree if we did put one up...he's so silly sometimes. I told him Christmas isn't about the gifts, but he still insists on not decorating. I guess it is just as well, by the time Christmas is over, I probably won't feel like taking it all down and putting it away... this kid has zapped the energy right out of me!

Your tree sounds gorgeous!! You should post a pic! :-)

You can always wrap baby items and give them to each other.

I noticed this morn. that one of the bulbs was on the  tree skirt.  joleeschristmastree.jpgyou know I miss a real tree, maybe next yr. I just don't miss the stepping on the  lil droppings. They hurt the bear feet.  I sure do love the smell. Hugs Barb

Melinda,           I have been an avid Hallmark collector for years and I have 17 or more years of Hallmark ornaments on my tree.  People that have come to my house have actually stated that our tree is the most entertaining tree they have been around, because we have motion ornaments and lots of others, like Dr, Suess, Tonka, Hot Wheels, picture of Dale's life, and our pets, not to mention our tree tells the story of our lives and interests, we even have Harley Davidson ornaments on it for my husband.  I guess what I am saying, is that I LOVE my tree and LOVE Christmas, we put up our tree on Thanksgiving or at least that weekend every year.  Your tree sounds beautiful and if my tree was not so colorful, I believe that I would match the gift wrap as well!! LOL Merry "Christ"mas!!! Shelia Maybe I will post a picture later, but pictures really do not do it justice!!!  It's just so fun to play with and watch.

Mine is an artificial tree.  I have mostly white lights with a few blue ones mixed in.  The bulbs are white, silver, blue and purple.  I have a purple and blue tree skirt.  I bought these ornaments about 4-5 years ago after my last Christmas in my own apartment back home in Florida.  After that year, I moved in with my grandma, so didn't put up my own tree.  Last Christmas was my first one here in Nashville and didn't put one up.  It was hard being here without family and hadn't made many friends yet at that time.   We put the tree up this last weekend.  Don't know how I managed it with working and the move.  Oh, btw, we closed on our house and the movers moved us the day before Thanksgiving!  What a busy week.  Almost have everything unpacked.  Just need more furniture now!!!  lol   I think the tree turned out pretty.  Sorta girlie, but it looks nice!  lol

Ours is still in the box!!! LOL  We will put it up this weekend.  It will be full with Blue balls, (old joke) and lots of ornaments that have history to them.  Some are from my childhood, a lot from R.J.'s childhood and all of the Christmas exchange one from Scott's family.  It is a very eclectic tree.  It will have a hidden pickle ornament (German background for me) and probably a piece of plastic fruit or two.  Special ornaments from Scott too.  It will be a beautiful tree filled with lots of love.   Merry Christmas Ya'll! We bought two new trees this year. I had a huge beautiful one that iIdreaded putting up & taking down every year. This year we bought a new pre-lit slim lime. I bought all new ornaments in gold & red. If, it doesn't match it don't get on the tree. No, special memory ones or anything made it to my tree. That sounds mean doesn't it. Melinda I am a match freak too. My skirt is gold & my gift paper is red with big gold dots & gold bows. This tree goes in my living room. I told hubby I wanted another one for us to see in the den where we stay. It is different. Has all yellow new med. size bulbs that have a glitter/frost on them. (First time I have ever seen these) Bought all new ornaments in brown & gold. Lots of unique weird ornaments. You can tell my depression of being over weight is shopping.  Ellen
