My last post before the 1st day of the rest of my life

Just wanted to thank everyone before I go to bed You all have been so very supportive to me and I am so very happy I came to this room. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Well time to go to bed so I can now dream of food instead of actually eating it.

I couldn't help but laugh at your statement "My last BIG meal" Mine would have said, "The Last Supper" lol But, I had the Last Supper Syndrome for 3 weeks prior to my surgery date.  I gained 11 lbs of the 25 that I lost... !!  Can ya believe that?  The servers at the Mexican restuarnt thought i had a crush on the server who I asked for by name.  Truth is, he gave me free desserts cause we tipped so well...  and I had free desserts for 3 weeks prior to my wls!  I said goodby to that food.. then goodbye to Allen my server... I still go back to see him, but not my dessert! Congratulations on making it this far, and please let us know how you are after surgery.  You will be a big loser when we see you next! lol.  We'll be waiting to welcome you to the loser's bench.  We've been saving a seat for you....  Take care.  Hope to hear about you or from you very soon.

I "last suppered" for about a month prior to my surgery....I gained 8lbs! Glad you enjoyed your last big meal :-)

Here's wishing you a safe and uneventful surgery!  You are probably already in recovery by now.  I'm sending lots of positive energy your way in hopes that you will be up walking off all that gas they pump into you.  Remember to walk as much as you can and sip, sip, sip!
