One week to go!!!

I was just sitting here thinking....this time next week, I'll be on the "loser's bench",in the hospital, post op, and probably hurting like heck from my first walk....LoL...Am I afraid..NOPE...Am I impatient and wi**** was this week instead of next....YOU BET....Is the "head hunger" driving me nuts....OH YEAH.....Will I make it through this week.....YEPPERS....Is this all going to be worth it......DEFINITELY!!!!

You definitely have the mind set as to what is in store..... oh that first walk..ugh is all I can say. It wasn't as bad as having to breath into a spirometer that first time...but it all got easier as it will for you! Good luck next week.

Hi Doug! I know that this is one of the most exciting times as well as one of the most nerve wracking!  I did quite a bit of reading in the week prior to my surgery.  I think I finished four novels just to try to keep my mind occupied!  Dr. Spaw is a wonderful surgeon!  You are in the best hands!  I truly believe that God guides that man's hands because he is on a mission to help those of us who could not beat obesity on our own.
