Some People...........ARGUHHHHHHHHH

I was out walking today and a neighbor of my mothers was out also. She asked me how I was doing etc. And then she said...'Well I guess it is just easier than Weigh****chers". I don't usually get put out with people knowing that everyone has their ways but ......... Who in the world would have surgery and have their guts bisected and go thru this because it is "EASIER". Jeezzzzzzzzzz.  Of course I ignored her and went on my happy little way. But I still wonder at the ignorance of some people.  Thanks, just had to vent a bit. Dot

Print out a information sheet on this surgery and fold it up and write on it " Does this really seem easy to you?" and place it in her mail box, smile and walk away. Always better to educate than leave someone ignorant, Don't ya think?

Dot,            You are so right it is their IGNORANCE that makes them say things like that!!!  I am a year out and almost daily do I get a comment from someone with that attitude!!!  I wish I could say that it gets better, but some days you can roll it off and others you can't.  One thing for sure, you can always come here and Vent without any judgement and we will help you through it!! Hate that this happened to you, but remember, you will be the one laughing with HEALTH!!! Shelia
