I Made My Pouch Unhappy Last Night

I'm 1 week and 1 day post-op and I learned a lesson last night. I had been in Dr. Dyer's office earlier that day and upgraded to stage 2 liquids. Well, I've been craving a taste of some real food so I decided to have the broth from some real vegetable soup. I had asked my nut. earlier if I could do that and she said yes.

Well I drank about 3-4 ozs. of this broth in about 20 mins. because it was getting cold. I thought that I was going to burst wide open and I was hurting. My midsection was soooooo bloated. I hated that feeling. I didn't even want to do my protein shake this morning because I'm scared of not knowing when to stop. My pouch is mad at me and I don't blame it.

Sometimes our pouches can be real brats. Sorry yours is grouchy today. Just baby it for a day or two and try the broth again. Just take it more slowly next time.
